how hard is was to let you go
to feel your hand slip away
wish I’d just buckle down
and let you stay
wish I’d finally break down
and confess it all to you
that I’m madly in love with you
I hide it so well
I know it’s hard to tell
but that’s no excuse
you left me hanging like a noose
so I’ll take that noose
and cut it down
cause you’re not worth
me hanging around
