Emotions
she doesn’t ignore you
because she doesn’t want to talk.
she just wants to see if you care.
she acts like she’s okay
because she knows
that sadness
is weakness.
and tears
show vulnerability.
so she bottles it up
instead of getting help.
because why should she speak to someone
who tells her that her emotions are wrong.
because her emotions are hers
no matter how foolish they seem.
she just wants someone,
anyone,
to accept her
for how she is seen.

I have family issues, and nobody really understands. I love to write poetry when im feeling upset, because it helps soothe my emotions. Bottling up your emotions is hard, because at some point, you're going to explode. Remeber, it's okay to need help, and someone loves you. Be here <3
