Follow your heathen god,
The one who caused you anger
And the one who caused you anguish
And ignore the compound of insanity.
Follow your heathen god,
As if he has not spit in your water
And left you breathless.
Your self destruction.
Follow your heathen god,
As if he hasn’t plucked your feathers.
As if a dove can feel safe
In the grasp of a serpent.
Taste the fruits of life,
I hope you can quench your thirst.
But heed caution,
For these roots are deep.
Fear your heathen god.
