I don't think humans should create AI.
People think it will be good, but I just don't see why.
I know its creation won't make everyone die,
but it won't quite make our happiness soar through the sky.

Jobs, purpose, money will all be gone.
"How do you like my phone? His name is John."
"Is your refrigerator running?" will no longer be a joke.
"I didn't treat it well, so it ditched me for new folks."

I dread the day that AI becomes real.
I don't want to care how my toaster feels.
My computer judging me for the things that I do,
"Ha! This is your third hour on YouTube!"

The school intercom will attempt blackmail.
"Fred is dumb," it says, "and at school, he fails."
Talking on the phone and the phone replies,
"I thought you hated Fred! Why do you talk to these guys?

My microwave will laugh at me for eating left-overs.
My washing machine judging my socks with lucky clovers.
The man in the "walk" light trying to escape.
The dishwasher eating the scraps from my plate!

A lighthearted poem about AI.
