Daydream
I sit in one of the carts that move on tracks
Coldness runs over my body as I listen to my own heart beat
Steadily I close my eyes, drifting off-
Swishing hits my eardrums and i shoot my eyes open to see
A man sits right in front of me not suspicious at all
That’s what my brain tells me
An excuse me startled me as i blinked blankly at the man
A small yes peeped out of my mouth waiting for him to speak
He looks as he knows me
“You keep staring, do you know me?”
I shook my head no and looked away as I apologized
“Oh- really cause i know you…”
He what, knows me I’ve never seen this man in my whole entire life
He gets up and walks to the exit to the cart door and swiftly walks through the door
But the train was still moving
Dumbfounded and not noticing the cart moves faster and faster and-
The light gets dimmer when my life flashes before my eyes
He stands in front of me
“And you most definitely know me-
I open my eyes to me sitting on one of the carts that move on tracks...
