For an Unchanging Future

Where it can Create Success

But where people try to find success

Among the decayed streets of Detroit

There is a bright future

A future with cleaner streets and less crime

A future not held back by the past

Where people follow their own Strength

And where there is Strength

Comes promises of Success

Where the skeletons of the Past

Don't come and haunt Detroit.

Where the only Crime

In not believing in yourself and the Future.

But these promises of the Future

Only come from those who are willing to speak out and make a difference, those with Strength

And those people who stand on the street corners, profiting off Crime

Don’t want to experience this kind of success.

They only want to make a quick buck selling product to the people of Detroit.

Waiting to repeat the mistakes before them. The mistakes of a broken Past.

Whether it’s the Past

Or Future

This cycle of Detroit

Is unable to be broken without Strength

And the small light of success

Is blown out by the gusts of crime

The passage of time has no effect on Crime

it’s always stuck in the past.

Criminals see a bank heist or a drug deal as success.

But crime doesn’t provide a Future.

Nobody is able to come together with the Strength.

To break this decade’s old curse of Detroit.

I guess that we’ll have to wait and see the Future
