BFFs 'Til the End

Two best friends
forever and ever.
A promise is made;
they'll die together.
But how could that happen?
By fates control.
They could stick together
and die when they're old.
But the promise is hard-
not easy to keep,
so fate's control
they must defeat.
To complete this task
It truly is cruel.
To do what they're thinking
they truly are fools.
They get out two bottles,
OD on pills,
and as time is slipping
they lose their feel.
Not even twenty-
these stupid best friends-
but they did die together.
Buffs ‘til the end.
