What Is True?

I was raised catholic. I do believe in one God. I also believe religion is man made. Think about it, humans build churches, and they print books with Gods words. The thing is we don't really know how much of it is true. I shouldn't have to tell the pope how bad I feel about my sins, if God knows everything. I don't need a building nor a book to feel his presence.
