"One day there will be a chance that you will say that you love one person and really mean it, but every day one person is at least loving you now." - Me

I don't understand why most people in the world don't like people of the same sex to be in a relationship. I'm bisexual myself and people come up to me and start critizing me because i am, but they dont understand that I'm special in my own way just like other ppl, no matter who they are.

Where I live the main population is gay, lesbian and bi people. In front of my school there are even people writing signs saying "God hates America and Fags are not welcomed here!" I am getting so sick of it! This is making us not want to come out and actually be us.

The government has no right to make laws saying that gays can not be married. God and government does not mix people! Get it straight! Some of yur friends might actually be gay, lesbian or bi, and would u not be there friend because of it? If you would, then you are messed up and not worthy of their friendship.

I disagree with you. Whether it is in text form or in the correct form the message is still deep/ strong. Some people dont like it some people do.

I'm Mormon. I hate that people say :ur not human cuz u lyk the say sex" It drives me crazy. Everyone says that we aren't suppose to be judgemental, but voting yes or no on propersition 8 is being judgemetal. And my church also says be nice to everyone, treat them lyk brother and sister, love them as if they were ur own blood. But gaining up in ppl who are gay, lesbian, or bi is a horrible thing to do. Sorry Lenah if i offended you, but i disagree with you. Its there choice- all choices has consequences- we have free agency, we'll use it however. Let God and Jesus Christ judge them at the Mercy Seat, its not our place to judge.

Honestly King, you are my hero. Everything I've ever seen from you I've completely agree with. You've got a great head on your shoulders!

I don't buy it.  Seriously, look at the way its written.  It looks like something my four year old sister threw into a text message.  The writting is choppy, disjointed, and nonsensicle, gramar is practially nonexistent, and spelling is atrocious.  Writers use these attributes, flowing style, gramar, spelling, to indicate that the reader can trust the writing and the ideas behind it.  If an author for Times wrote something about Nuclear Power like this, would you be quick to beilieve it?

And just a side note... I fear the idea that the majority of her local population would become g4y, l3sbian, and bi.  This will spell a rapid decline of that areas population.

I looked back over it, and it just occured to me: maybe the author used grammar in that way on purpose to try and show that they are just like us.  Maybe it is written in text talk on purpose?

I don't personally know anybody who is, but don't see why people are judging eachother.  If you are against it, then don't do it; but it's not fair to these people who have done nothing wrong.  They're not hurting anybody by doing it.  I think, (as cliche`d as it may sound,) that we all just need to get along, and respect... no, embrace eachother's differences! Let's treat everybody with kindness.

Why do we close our eyes when we dream? When we cry? When we imagine? When we kiss? Because the most beautiful things in this world are unseen.

if homosexuality is wrong, then is being black or asian or blind or stupid a sin too? because people don't choose to be homosexual. people are born that way, even if they don't figure it out right away. and i'm not gay, in case you care. but i have a lot of friends who are, and so is my brother. so shut up.

The Bible does not "brainwash" people, neither does the church. The laws of their times has changed because our customs change. If you feel offended by my comment, I am truly sorry.

For the article, I must say that it is wrong. Homosexuality is wrong.

My mom told me that being gay is wrong. She told me how it's a sin and everything. But, after half an hour of trying to make her point, I still disagree. Gays are people too! They have feelings. Sometimes they are gay by choice, sometimes not! There are worse decisions.Being gay is not bad!!

The law used to say that black men and women were not a human beings, and they didn't count as a 'full' person in the US census during a time in our history, and we all know they were wrong!  The Bible says that it's ok to keep slaves, and that you should not be around a woman during that time of the month.  The Bible says that we shouldn't touch a 'pigskin' either, but if that 'law' still held true, football woudn't be the popular sport it is today.  I laugh when the Bible thumpers put out the abomination line.......they pull out that line because it suits their agenda, but they forget about all the other outdated items.  Stop letting the church brainwash you!

They put it on the front page because it's so popular and controversial, not because it's written well.

I completely agree with you! People always mistake my saying that I believe homosexuality is wrong as my saying I hate them for it. I don't. In fact a lot of gay guys are really cool. But I do NOT agree with their lifestyle choices (which it is; a CHOICE.)

i agree homosexuality is a sin unless you're not a christian. Other than that it should not be tolerated.

i love you

i hold homosexuality to be sin- i hope you know we all sin- but i'm not going to shut someone out of my life or totally disown them for it because i will forgive them. i think that the 'love the sinner, hate the sin' thing is something good to follow because even though our world is forgetting the 'hate the sin' part, we need to love the sinner still, not because of their sin though.
