The Brain
Many people are not aware of the serious dangers of insufficient nutrition. Besides nourishing your each and every organ and system, proper nutrition offers you excellent brain development and function. The brain is a phenomenal organ in your skull that allows you to see, make decisions, control instinct and behavior, hold memory, come up with ideas, and so much more. Because the brain performs so many vital functions it is common sense to provide your brain with the correct sustenance it requires. Insufficient mineral ad vitamins have been known to cause many common brain disabilities. For example, Alzheimer's can be caused by abnormal proteins in the brain and the formation of plaque. Short term memory depends on adequate intake of B12, vitamin C and vitamin E. Overall mental health requires zinc, thiamin, niacin, and folate. Autism, ADD and epilepsy are often caused by inefficient vitamins and minerals for your hard working brain.
