Summary:
Lizzie, a thirteen year old girl, and her mom rarely visit her grandparents even though they live a mere fifteen minutes away. However, one day when they come, her grandpa is acting different. He has never taken interest in building a bond with her before but now he is inspried to teach her how to play pool, his favorite pass time. When they leave she soon finds out that her grandma's Alzheimers has progressed, and that he was most likely only acting different o distract from his grief. As they continue their lessons Lizzie builds a relationship with him, and is scared that once her grandma passes, he won't care for her anymore.
