Summary:

This short story is based on a fantasy setting where there are two types of people: the Eerikki, and the Unwinged. The Eerikki have wings, and they all live in this giant stone castle in the center of the city. My story is about a young Eerikki boy who tries to escape the stone castle and his guardians to find freedom. This story is about the boy, Sylvan's, journey to escape his fear and find freedom, peace, and eventually, a friend. I named it 'Chasing the Sun' because the desire to fly with the sun and be as free as the sun is what gives Sylvan the courage to escape. Hope you enjoy! :)
