The George Mason basketball team.
Nobody knew who they were.
They were just another average team.
They couldn’t win the close games.
Everyone was out to “get theirs’”

Then one day the coach called a meeting.
They let their emotions out and said how the felt.
They said they wanted to make a name for themselves.
They said they wanted to be remembered.
They said they didn’t want to be just another team.

So they worked harder than ever in practice.
They shared the ball in games.
They played as a team and not as individuals.
And before they new it they were in the Conference Championship.
Playing for a spot in the NCAA tourney.

They won and went to the tourney.
Somehow they won their first game.
Then their second.
Then third.
Then fourth.

Now they’re in the NCAA Final Four.
And everyone is talking about George Mason.
They say they are one of the best underdog stories of all time.
Even though they lost in the Final Four.
They will be remembered forever.
All because ten guys decided to come together as a team and do something special.
