Fearless
Has it crawled up, incihing foward and foward. Like a snake but with thousandsof legs. I scream in fear and cry like a baby in the sight of the monster!
Chapter 1: Every one has fear Fear! Fear is a wonderful thing that we all have. It's basically a warning sign that this might be dangerous, don't watch this, don't do that. Everyone is afraid of something. Even if it's just a tiny spider or just scary rollercoaster. I always say that i'm fearless, that I don't fear anything, that nothing scares me. But everyone has fear; that they have something they're afraid of. I’ve got a story about me being scared, a time where i was trembling in fear. Because everyone is afraid of something and i'm definitely afraid of the 1000 legged, creepy crawling, face eating centipede!
I was just a small boy at the time, around 10 years old and it was spring break. My family decided to go to Austin, Texas and visit my grandpa. So we packed our bags and left the great lakes. We stayed at his house which is really big and its beach side to this huge lake; it was so nice. I decided to sleep in the basement in this huge bedroom all to myself. Its very peaceful and dark so I knew I would have a good night's rest after a long drive.
After some swimming in the lake and some eating out with the family I decided to go down stairs and watch tv in my bedroom. After a while sitting on this comfy queen size mattress watching the funniest tv show of all time, “Family Guy” While I was sitting there I felt this tickle on my thigh under my blanket. It was like a hairbrush was rubbing against me but moving. It was very strange feeling so my mind raced into what it could be. It seems like my mind rather imagine what it is than just throwing the blanket off my lap. I threw the blanket off my legs anyway and I just almost died of a heart attack. What I first saw was a long creature that had millions of feet, crawling up my leg! I just screamed at the top of my lungs and I took a pillow that was right next to me and swatted that thing out of existence. It smashed against the bedroom wall and dropped to the floor. It basically landed it and just squirmed under the closet door. After my brain and lungs caught up with me I went to grab my dad and grandpa.
They came downstairs to my room and I told them everything. I also told them it's still in the closet. “It was just a centipede” my grandpa Explained.” “These centipedes around here aren't usually poisonous, so you're good.” “Oh that makes me feel so much better,” I said sarcastically. Finally my Grandpa opened the closet threw some blankets and pillows over to find the creepy creature in a dark corner. So my grandpa just took his boot and stepped on its head to smash his brains all over the closet wall! I actually wasn't disgusted; I just laughed. That thing was so creepy and just scary even though it wasn't poisonous and completely harmless I still don't wanna be around them. They really just give me the heeby jeebys.
