I’m going to tell you a story on how I learned to keep a watch on my brother. On a hot summer day in the middle of the summer, with no cloud in the sky, her yard was the nicest shade of green, should be my family and I of five were at my grandma's house around one o'clock in the afternoon. Her house looked like it had a tanish-gray color of paint with a star on top. We went swimming in her icy cold pool, it was a circle pool with clear water and it was 2 and a ½ feet deep. So when we got there we hungout for a little while and jumped in the pool. So we could cool off from the heat. My sister and I had so much fun! She is younger then me but we had fun swimming under water. When we were under the water it looked like we were swimming in a reef without the fish and coral.

Then we got some pool toys out like pool noodles, wave boards, and beach balls. We had fun in the pool throwing the beach ball around and playing tennis and other sports. My sister and my dad got out and headed inside to take a break from swimming. Then it was just my mom and I, also my little brother in the pool we were swimming around in a toy filled pool having fun. We had fun with my little brother, he was 3 or 4 at the time. I let him play with a little water bomb ball that was blue and yellow. My mom had to use the bathroom, I said “I will watch him” I said with confidence. “Thank you” said my mom.

So I was pushing him around in the pool, he was splashing the water then it happened; He went under the water. I thought to myself,”OMG I need to get him!”. When I turn around he was splashing the water around him and the force from him or a wave fliped the green plastic turtle over. I reacted as fast as I could to bring him up. I was pushing down as hard as I could on the green turtle where he was. I started to yell for help but that did not work. So I kept trying and trying. I was to worried that I did not think of a different plan to use, but after all the trying I did it. He was back on the surface, he was under the water for about a minute or less and what a relief to stop being worried about him it was!

So then I pushed Issac to the stairs so that someone could get him out of the pool. Then my mom quickly came outside and took him out and inside the house. I was still in the pool getting the pool toys out When that was done I headed inside to relax. The rest of my family was shocked when they heard what happen. I was swimming about 30 minutes or so. Then me and my family headed home to end the day.

So that was the story when I learned to keep an eye on my brother. That day started on a hot summer day, where we headed to my grandma's home to take a dip in her pool. Also I was watching my brother when my mom was gone, I was pushing my brother around in the pool, then the unexpected happen. The unexpected happend, that he went under water in the pool and I tried and tried to get above the water. So as I broth him above water, I pushed him to the ladder so my mom could rescue him. The day ended with my family and I heading back hom where we could all be safe.
