I Believe Essay
Have you ever lost something you treasured and cared for? The day I learned life wasn’t fair was the day my grandma died. It was during the summer, the grass was green the flowers were bloomed. Everything was beautiful till the news came to us. I cried all day nonstop. When my mom found out i was crying, she explained to me that she wasn’t killed but never woke up. I started to understand but I still felt bad,so she said we should go to Mexico around this month. I was really excited and happy that we were going to Mexico to see my grandma’s grave. My 2 siblings were excited too. A few weeks later,we were all packed for our trip to Mexico. We got to the airport, then we got in the airplane. Me and my siblings were frightened, but we knew it was for a good cause. When we got there,it was 6:00 p.m, so we stayed in my aunt’s house. It was warm and comfy. We got in bed, but i wasn’t comfortable, so my mom came to my bed and slept with me.
The next morning,we all got dressed in black, ate breakfast and went to my grandma’s grave. Everyone was weeping, so was I. I felt even worse when I saw the cold gray grave. I saw 1963-2015 on the gravestone. It also said my grandma’s name. I don’t remember it,but i’ll find out. When we finished with the graveyard,we left to my aunt’s house. Everyone was silent. I tried to comfort them, but it didn’t work,so i just ran to my room and weeped. My tears were running down my cheek till my mom came to my room and calmed me down. My mom told me we were going back home in the U.S. I was full of joy to go back home. From a long journey from Mexico,we made it home safely and on time for lunch. I was starving. For lunch we ate soup and cake. We were full,so we took a bath, brushed our teeth, and went to sleep. We promised we would pray for my grandma everyday. So my story is finished, and I also believe life isn’t always fair.
