August 14, 2015 was the day that basically changed my way of thinking and my way of being forever.

The crying sound of my on-going alarm woke me up as the sun was barely commencing to creep its face from behind the whispering mountains. The sound of crickets echoing in the background fell perfectly as I berserkly stretched my arms across the world. Hair so chaotic I could've easily been confused for an alpha lion waking up from its afternoon nap in its natural habitat. I got dressed, packed everything I wanted, and went outside to await for my chariot. ‘I'm going to the beach with her,’ was all that seemed to process through my mind at the time.
Once they picked me up, we headed straight towards her direction. I, so full of joy, kept looking outside the window attempting to calm my hyperactively beating heart as we kept getting closer to her by the minute; by the second. My cheeks were so red that they could easily be compared to a tomato. I kept fantasizing about us standing by the sea shore. The winter cold ocean water running through our feet, leaving us both with a soothing sensation as the water rapidly runs back to where it came from. Breeze calmly massaging every aspect of our body as we watch the illuminating sun burry it's blushing face into the horizon. We’d both be shyly holding hands, too scared to look into eachothers eyes, simply enjoying the day as it rapidly passes by. I tried my best not to smile but it was simply impossible.

From the time we picked her up to the time we arrived at the beach, we both shared nothing but blundering silence, as we both kept awkwardly looking out of the window. I desired to speak up and say something but I simply couldn't, the joy and excitement of being able to candidly sit next to her was just too overwhelming. Every so often I’d look at her to catch a quick glimpse of her beauty as she looked out the window, with the natural lighting making her shine brighter than the sun. Shortly coming to an end as I'm being forced to look away as she too turns my way, leaving my cheeks with a rosiness color, for now I stare breathlessly out the window.
Eventually, at the beach, the awkwardness went away, leaving us both enjoying one another's company. We’d walk through the sea shore, as I foretold in my fantasy, talking and laughing at the stories we told one another, and soon enough, I found myself sitting by her side as we watched the sunset disappear into the horizon, leaving the clouds in the sky blushing pink. Our hands barely touching, I look up down at her with my eyes filled with amazement and she looks up at me. I lean in close to her ear and for the first time in 5 years I whisper, “I'm in love with you.” She smiles and too leans close to my ear and whispers, “It’s crazy how this world functions because," she paused for a moment, "I’m in love with you too.”
