The spring break of 2015 sure was a good one. I got to do a lot, but then again I got to do nothing which are both awesome things. Spring break is always clutch because it gives students something to look forward to in the second semester and it also gives students a rest before finals, AP tests, standardized tests, etc…

The highlight of my spring break was going to Aspen for six days. On this endeavor I traveled with two friends and my brother. It was very savage. For the first three days in Aspen we spent almost all of our time on the mountain snowboarding when we were not playing intense games at the house. We were going to continue for a fourth day but I broke my collarbone again making it the second time in eight months. I was bummed when I broke my collarbone because it meant I would be physically incapable of many of my favorite activities which include but are not limited to: sports, surfing, and snowboarding. I was also upset because everyone else on the trip would get to go on the mountain the next day while I was contained to the house.

When the next day arrived and I woke up in a daze I was very surprised to see all my homies still at the house. They had decided not to go out because they wanted to include me in the days activities. We all decided to go on a super savage six mile hike in the mountains of Aspen. it turned out to be just as fun and cool as the previous three days. I was really glad that my boys did not leave me all alone to sit around at the house.

The next day we left Aspen for Denver, which would be where we flew back to Coronado. On the way to the airport we stopped by CU Boulder to see the campus and visit some Coronado alumni. The campus and people were both awesome and it was another great part of the trip.

Back in Coronado for the last five days of spring break was pretty uneventful apart from me getting my license and now being able to hit the roads. We all know how it goes in Coronado… Beach or pool during the day then hanging out at night.

Overall I had a fun and relaxing spring break and now I am ready for summer.
