Rustic Road
Adventure is thrill seeking, and exciting. Getting lost is a wondrous mystery, and finding your way back is like solving a crime. The rustic roads in Lisbon give me those exact feelings. Being out on country roads makes me feel free. The pure darkness and excitement at every curve is an absolute thrill. Blasting dubstep while screaming with my best friend beside me-- the adventure begins.
Nighttime, is when you get the best experience, when you can only see a few feet in front of you. My eyes are constantly on the look out for deer or little critters creeping by on the road. At stop signs is when we make the rash decision on which direction to go. Yelling out “LEFT! No RIGHT!” With panic we go down the road that looks most ‘scary.’ The more turns we make the more adventurous it all becomes. It’s like being in Wonderland and we can't find our way out. Tricking yourself into thinking there is something in the trees makes it all the more real. Every time I go down Monches Rd it’s a new memory.
