Harmony
As the shadow of the whirling trees sway back and forth along the gravel driveway, the bitter cold whips against the side of my face. Swish swish, swish swish, swish. Back and forth each single leaf sways along with the rhythm of the wind. Crunch, crunch, crunch. The soft crinkle of the leaves send secrets along the breath of Mother Nature. The scent of fresh pine from the neighbor’s construction mixed with the dampness of the grass fills the lungs. As each breath comes forth the trees continue to move along with the rhythm. Suddenly the wind stops, everything stands still. The trees whispering, the wind’s soft melody, and the crackling of leaves all stand still. The single tree reflects a shadow onto the pointy gravel. As the gravel forms blisters upon the feet, the wind has stopped the movement of the pattern. Swoosh, the pattern changes its course. As the tree dances and the wind howls sweet melodies, everything is one. The birds chirp, the whispering of each individual blade of grass, the leaves sending codes from branch to branch are all united. As the pattern moves along, a doe comes to join the dance. The deer frolics to the tune of the wind with its baby close behind. Nature slowly becomes one melody singing along with the wind. Everything is in harmony as one single pattern. It’s one single sight, one single scent, one single sound, and one single feeling, happiness.
