Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World weaves heart and truth and prospects into my brain like a snake weaves slime and slither through thick grass. I question my every belief and assumption without hesitation, I abandon for a moment my preconceived notions and adopted dogma and childhood conditioning and wonder at what I am left with. It looks like nothing- a child without parents, a body without influence from two individuals’ sperm and egg, a person without a brain tainted by a word from the moment he lived.

It looks empty...but it is beautiful.
