You Don't Realize I'm Here
I wish you noticed me. I wish you opened your eyes long enough to notice. If you stepped our of your self consumed bubble for five minutes, you would notice that I'm standing right here. As your child I've constantly tried to please you. Dad, you asked for straight A's and I struggled to deliver those. I know your the one raising me, but I feel you have separated yourself from me. The reason you have done this is because I know she makes you happy. That is amazing and I understand you want to be with her forever. Just know, your daughter (me) will always be here for you... just waiting.
