The Struggle!!
The day I was born changed my sister’s life. They didn’t want anymore sisters! Growing up they wanted al the attention, but they didn’t get it so they had left. They say I got it good, until my mom started beating me. My mom is a drunk who likes to beat on her kids. All four of us! When my sister Alex got pregnant with her daughter who is now 5 years old, my mom had beaten her when she found out she was pregnant and Alex ran away. She has a one year old too. My sister Erika the one who got it easy, me, Alex, and my other sister Morgan got beat all the time. When they had all moved out my mom just started to drink more. She went out to my uncle’s house almost every weekend and got drunk. When I was in the seventh grade my mom’s friend had told her that I was having sex, so my mom had looked at me and asked me if I was having sex and I told her no. The woman said she saw a lot of boys going into my house while my mom was gone out one weekend. My mom didn’t believe anything I said she thought I lied about everything and I would never lie to my mom about anything. That night when I was in my bed sleep she came in my room cussing me out, saying that I was a liar and full of s**t. She grabbed a drop cord up off my floor and started swinging it and kept hitting me with it as much as she could. My step dad called my sister over to the house and she tried to pull my mom off of me, but it didn’t work out. My mom tried to pull my hair out and punch me in my face, so my sister took me to her house and I called my dad and told him what had happened. He said he wanted me to come stay with him because he’s getting tired of hearing about her beating on me and he can’t be there to help me get away. My mom said I can’t go stay with him because she doesn’t want her child support to stop; which she never really spends on me. It’s like every year around Christmas she will try to do something so I won’t get anything for Christmas from nobody. I sit in my room every day and think about all the stuff my mom has done to me. I sit there in tears!! Sometimes I think she don’t want me in this world because how she treats me. She never gets me things, my daddy or my uncle do all the time. I’ve wanted to get some new shoes and she goes and gets me boots, and I tell her I need tennis shoes. I was supposed to fill out an application at Subway and she won’t let me do that she told me to wait until the summer but I need the money now. I can’t wait until I turn 18 then I’m leaving and probably not coming back. I guess you can say life is getting a little better now since she hasn’t been going anywhere lately. The last time she went out was two weeks ago and of course she came back drunk… but everything is going good! Social Services had come out to my house before so many times because they heard about what she has done to all my sisters and me. They came Friday when I got out of school and my mom got mad! They came for me! My mom was so mad she kept cussing and everything.
