A Thank You
I may look like I’m smiling, but on the inside I’m crying. Because you all are the only reasons I have to smile anymore. My friends. The reasons I can still face the day again. Thanks to you, the cuts on my wrists are healing. And the scars on my soul are fading.
Few scars remain. The melancholy reminders of the past, and warnings for the future. Warnings to never repeat the mistakes I’ve made in the past. And that I hope I will never make again.
And so, my friends, I thank you.
