Love.
Today in the office during my study hall someone wrote on the board “Love, What is it?” And to be perfectly honest, love is food.
Love is the unobtainable reward to a good life.
Love is the thing girls go searching for in the wrong places.
Love something I don’t want to go searching for because I don’t want to give someone so much of myself that they could potentially throw it all back in my face.
Although plenty of people my age claim they’re in love, I doubt it. I’m a firm believer that teenagers are too young to know what real love is. You don’t learn what love is until you’re ready, and you won’t know until then. Yes, you can spend time saying you’re in love with someone, but to be perfectly honest you aren’t. It takes a long time to get to this dove, symbol for the Greek Goddess of Love, you can’t get to that point at the ripe old age of seventeen.
That’s my spin on the question, what’s yours?
