My favorite quote I always say is:How does one find happiness in making another lose their own and Love comes and goes like a revolving door waiting to hit you dead in the head and knock you on your little feet...

From the day you carried me in your womb I knew that you were a strong woman that wanted to make your little girls proud. From the day I was born you were always there even though I had no one to play the father role for me but you and you did that without struggle...It's sad to see a lot of women on their own with little one's that are crying kicking screaming whining and all of the above. It ain't always fair because it took two people to bring me into this world and only one person remains an icon in my life and even when I reconnected with my father I didn't want anything to do with him because he left you alone and to fend for yourself with two girls but you still remained strong through those times and yo still are...Thank you for being there for me mom...

My mother inspired me to write this poem for her because all my life I've known her to be a mother and father figure to me and that will never change even though my biological father is back in my life I will always thank my mom for stepping up and being a mother and father to me.
