After a few years of overcoming personal challenges, the majority of which were tied to my mental health, I started having a desire to push myself into challenges. Attached to drawing since the age of around 5, I decided to tie my life with art. My experiences with mental health also drew me to psychology, and when a new international psychological awareness campaign launched, I joined as lead designer, securing the role through trial tasks.

Our campaign's goal is to help people face and heal from life’s hardships. With calming visuals, supportive articles, and a compassionate community, we aim to destigmatize self-awareness and mental health, especially in regions where these topics are often overlooked. This year, I’ve created posters, social media content, and branding visuals to make our mission accessible and impactful. Our team’s articles, on topics like gaslighting and abuse, brought relief and insight to over 2,000 people, as shared in feedback like, “The article on gaslighting made me realize things I hadn’t admitted even to myself,” and “Thank you for creating this safe space for us.”

My main responsibilities include creating visuals and working closely with writers, who cover essential topics to raise awareness. While challenges like limited initial feedback and a lack of volunteers slowed us at first, our team’s commitment and thorough recruitment process ultimately brought us passionate, motivated individuals. Through our collective effort, we’ve created a welcoming and impactful resource that people truly value.

Now, nearly a year into volunteering as an artist and designer, I’m proud to see the positive impact we’ve had, helping people worldwide explore their inner selves and confront personal struggles. I believe such an impact can be partly attributed to how passionate everyone was about their duties, especially when our motivation comes from a place of genuine passion to help others.
