Puerto Rico, My Home

In my home there is a beautiful beach with clearing water and blossoming flowers. The beachs water is so cold but it helps relieve any pain you have in your body.  Puerto Rico is located in a amazing island. The music of Celia Cruz playing in my living room is vibing. The way my mom makes her Puerto Rican rice and carnetas is so delicious.  Everybody outside playing baseball with a hard wooden stick. Kids laughing in joy, parents having a good time. But when it turns late at night theirs parties that last till 5 in the morning.  All you see is elders dancing bachata, reggeaton and salsa. The food is so good you wouldn’t care how starved you are. We all end up having a blasting night and enjoy our lives.

But I wish that was true  because their is a lot of suffering in my home.  I lived in Cacuas where there was a lot of accidents.  At night i hear about 40 gunshots. There is graffiti on building that have been abandoned.  But what ever happened to the owners that left it there to rot? We have bad storming nights you can hear the wind blowing and the rain hitting the roof really hard.  The view in my home is trashed out all you can see is trash everywhere. People are scared that one day they won’t be able to live at least a day.

It’s amazing how my home, my place is so unorganized.  There is a lot of drug lords that some people actually are afraid of them and they also get abused and killed from.  But someone is not noticing the destruction that has been going on which is the president. After Hurricane Maria sosme places in Puerto Rico still don’t have power.  The houses in Puerto Rico are build of wood. Donald J. Trump is discussing about the wall and how he is going to take away some money from Puerto Rico to use the funding for the wall.  But he doesn’t see how all the people in Puerto Rico are suffering. Now a 24 year old rapper was shot to death in Puerto Rico. Kris Caldwell a project manager for Louis Berger spent more than a year in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.  He has been helping the people there who need help but the president isn’t doing anything which isn’t making any sense of why he would take money from Puerto Rico for the wall but all that money he is trying to take, he can help them out.

Puerto Rico is my home which needs to be helped and saved so I recommend that you can help with what’s going on or you can do you.
