My Brother's Voice

My voiceーsubdued like a slumbering sloth. Slow to leave my lips. As I speak, the words get lost in the breeze. A shadow hiding from the spotlight of the sun. My brother, my brother’s voice captures the attention of any ear who hears it. He delivers syllables steady as a beating drum. Calm and controlled like waves crashing in from the ocean. Full of energy, his rich voice rampages over all others like a raging fire consuming everything in its path. He does not need to find attention, people surround him as if he was the center of the solar system.
