My not biological Father
My great grandpa, my father, my hero.
Last year at my grandma’s house there was a family argument. That night my dad was angry, frustrated how all his family goes against him, and my great grandpa tried to calm him down. My life, and the way I live is important to both of them. My father looked in my eyes, said “ Worthless piece of Sh**, wish you would have made me prouder, disappointment.” There’s nothing more depressing than hearing that coming out from your own biological dad.
My great grandpa stood up as fast as he could once he heard what my father said. He fought for me since I was speechless; so much anger filled my grandpa, he walked over grabbed onto my shoulders he sighed “ I am disappointed in your dad, but I know that you're nothing what he says. You're a strong independent young lady god brought you here for a purpose. Never listen to one that throws shade ,because the one who throws shade is one who hates themselves.” I bawled my eyes out, tears just kept rushing down my face.
What he said made me less depressed, but everything was still shady. My great grandpa is my hero ever since he passed away his words stick with me till this day, when life tries to bring me down, I don’t give up I try harder just to make him proud.
My great grandpa, my father, my hero.
