(Morgan)
My parents wanted something strong, something powerful, something intelligent. It took a while for them to name the little brown haired blob that was me.
Since then I've grown taller, my hair has gotten longer. I now longer have to climb on the counter the reach the cabinet shelves, and I can go up stairs all by myself. However, my name has never changed. I've always been Alex, but now, I'm Morgan.
I'd grown tired of being confused with the other Alexes in class. So I just decided I'd be Morgan, my middle name. Seemed easy enough. But now, as i make my way through school, I feel like I'm going through the biggest change ever, like I'm losing my identity. I'm Morgan. I'm Morgan. I'm Morgan. I'm not. I don't know who I am.
I'll figure it out.
