My dogs
I remember it like it was yesterday. I was young, about 2 years old. My family took me to a little festival/market with animals and antiques. I was walking with my grandma when I seen a pen filled with puppies. They were English Settlers, white with black spots like a dalmation. Everytime I went to the pen with puppies only one of them came up to me, an all white puppy, and I would always go to that one.
The lady selling them was giving them away for $250. My grandpa that day gave me some chocolate coins, so when I was there I had chocolate coins. The lady told me the price so I gave her my chocolate coins. She thought it was so cute, she lowered the price to $150. My parents got me the dog and she was a girl.
We got back in the car and my dad had just bought a brand new jacket and he wrapped her up in it because she was getting cold. Later that day down the road my dog got sick, and threw up on my dad’s new jacket. My dad wasn't that mad because she was just a puppy.
Finally we got home they asked what I wanted to name her and I told them that I wanted to name her cinderella. So we named her Cinderella, she was never aggressive.
Later on after a couple years she started grow black spots on her so now she was white-and-black. We got another dog named Hunter, he was another english settler and he was white-and-brown. Cinderella and Hunter had puppies, a litter of about 13 pups. We kept one and name her Lucy, white with brown and black spots. But before the puppies were born we got another dog and named her Zoei. She was a blue weimaraner.
Cinderella was a weird dog when she was still alive, she would eat toads in the backyard and have drool coming down her mouth and when we had a hamster she ate our hamster.
On May 19, 2017; Zoei had to get put down. Because her back legs gave out to where she couldn't walk and she wouldn't eat or drink and she was suffering. When we were taking her to the vet, she knew what was happening. She had a tear.
My sister and grandpa took her there while me and my dad waited. She called and said “she is gone,'' I automatically lost it. We got to bury her in our yard, and after me and my dad did that we went to the chinese buffet.
On January 25, 2019; I had to put Cinderella down, the same thing happened to her but her inflammatory was bad. And she was 13 years old, that was when my life changed. She was the best dog I've ever had, never got in trouble, she only got spanked once in her whole life, and never needed a leash to go outside she always stayed in the yard or by my ankle. She was just the best ever.
We got her cremated. I felt like I lost my other half and my other piece. She was always there for me and was always there to bring my day up.
