Ms. Quill Teen Ink Educator of the Year
2-26-14
To whom it may concern,
Ms. Quill should be Teen Ink Educator of the Year. She was my eighth grade social studies teacher at St.Elizabeth’s Middle School. Here are a few of the innumerable reasons why I nominate Ms.Quill for this award.
Ms. Quill had the best personality. She gets along great with the students and the parents. Ms. Quill had one of the best attitudes toward teaching students in St. Elizabeth’s. She was happy all the time, and she always had a smile on her face when we entered her classroom.
Her sense of authority was undeniable when she entered the room. Whenever she told someone to sit down or stop talking, they stopped right away. Ms. Quill was a truly respected teacher. The students knew never to try and challenge Ms. Quill because they knew they wouldn’t win.
Another of Ms. Quill’s innumerable qualities was her great teaching ability. We never did the same thing, and we had a great time doing each assignment. We also had fun in her class, but when it was time to get to work, we did our work. Ms. Quill was also extremely organized which made every day a lot easier because we didn’t have to wait for her to get everything ready.
For all these reasons and more, I would like to nominate Ms. Quill for the Educator of the Year. Thank you for reading my letter and I really hope you pick Ms. Quill because she was my favorite; she’s the best teacher ever.
Sincerely,
Marcus Brooks
