The Mime
It's okay that we don't always get along
Because I know you'd still smile if you heard our song
No one is perfect, but our love is
I'm not afraid to say "Sorry, I'm his"
You worry like I would runaway with someone new
You don't realize that I cherish the love I've found in you
I know I don't always say what I'm thinking
Or always show when I'm hurting
But that doesn't mean I don't have trust
I simply have to learn to adjust
I must adjust to actually having someone there at all times
Adjust to human nature because for so long I have been the mime
There are times that you just wont understand
But I need to learn how just put that in your hands
It's not your fault that my voice has faded
But you have to understand that life has left me jaded
So if you hear my tears and not another sound
Give me time to get my mouth unbound
When you got me you recieved damaged goods
I don't know if that can ever be understood
But I will be good as new eventually
Striving because of your beautiful serenity
I'm sure to be good as new with you around for eternity
