The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes- Sherlock Holmes

We sit here with our technology, lives, food and water whilst so many miles away there are people starving, alone, incapacitated with fatigue and slowly dying

All they want is is food and water and most importantly, a life. We complain about not getting what we want when there are people out there who only want food and water

Dangerously skinny to the point where you can see their ribs. Desperate for food and water, any bit of food or drink they can find, they treasure like an important possession

So next time we complain about something stupid just think how lucky we are to live the way we do, how lucky we are to have a life

I LOVED this. It feels like this whole nation is so surrounded by excess we all forgot the word "need". This piece has so much power in such a short work. Fantastic.
