She was invisible. No one saw her, ever. But she saw them. She knew everything, she saw everything. She saw the hatred and abhorrence in everyday life. She saw the injustice and crimes. When he killed his wife, she was there. When the children picked on one another, she was there. When he got stabbed on a street corner mugging, she saw. She was the protector of the young, the hurt, and the isolated. She tried to talk the wicked and cruel ones to be kinder, but they weren’t. Because not everyone listens to their conscious.
