What Freedom Means To Me
As the red, white, and blue billow in the wind, one thing that comes to mind is freedom. Freedom is something that this country has earned through courageous sacrifices of the brave men and women who have fought for this country. I am grateful for these sacrifices, and proud to be a free American.
The flag symbolizes the meaning of America. Fifty stars surrounded in a patch of blue, working together to be one ideal nation. The red and white stripes symbolize the roots of our nation and the 13 colonies. The people who fought for this country's freedom and founded this great nation.
“One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” These words encompass the ideals of this nation. The rights that our freedom has allowed every citizen to obtain.
Freedom is something that Americans should be grateful and proud to have. It is what sets America apart from other nations. As for me, I am proud to be a free American.
