Depression and Anxiety
Okay, I'm back with more questions. How is it possible that by putting words to paper that my anxiety and depression decrease? I'm going to take a stab at answering it. I think its because when I write, my book or computer listens. It can't reject what I have to say. It can't critique the way I structure my sentences or judge my opinions like other humans can. How can I be anxious about my ideas being rejected if paper can't argue back with me? It can't replace my thoughts with stronger more powerful ones. How can writing decrease depression? It gets everything out of my system. My pen just spills out my emotions hidden inside me. My pen is like my own personal shovel, digging and hoping to find something juicy to explode and share with the world. My pen opens me up to society and prevents me from being a lonely clam.
