Poetry is my sanctuary, a place where words dance to the rhythm of my soul. It serves as a mirror, reflecting my deepest feelings and ideas and molding them into fantastical, colorful places. A unique lens through which I explore and understand the complexities of life, love, and loss. I find comfort, healing, and a sense of community in poetry. Every stroke of a brush creates art of all my experiences, infused with reflection and emotion. It’s a whispered conversation with the universe, a silent scream echoing through the age of time. I am a junior now, and without poetry, I would be a wreck. The stress that keeps me up at night is solved with the sweet sound of a poem. Homework, sports, relationships, all of it surrounds me. Poetry as my wings, taking me to the heights of creation, and my anchor, keeping me rooted on the ground. It's the core of who I am; it goes beyond words.
