Why Should I
I wholeheartedly agree with Simone in this article "Why Should I Stand." I'm on Simone's side because he explains why we as students should have our rights to sit for the Pledge of Allegiance. For example, The Pledge includes "under God. Who's God? Not everyone in this country is Christian." Students from other schools face this on a daily basis. Others have their own beliefs and should have the right to fight against the injustices, even if it's just sitting for the Pledge. Yes, we are one nation, but our nation is not one because we are all divided and have different beliefs. Thank you Simone, for writing a insightfulb article that will hopefully open people's eyes and point of view.
