Out of the Darkness
After reading "Out of the Darkess," by Heather McDonald I had a moment to reminisce about the time that I had to play the piano for the first time in a concert. She points out each detail of her emotions at the time. She explains her love for music and made me relate to that same passion.
I, like the author, "wanted to incite emotions in others" with each touch of the keyboard. I was nervous and afraid of messing up. However, with each passing note I simply remembered my instructor telling me to enjoy the moment. This helped me remember to not let go of that spark within me.
