Facing Everest
“Facing Everest," by Jennifer Starnes is a relatable one-sided love story. How many of us have not been able to talk to our long time crush and in the end, realize that you need to “risk and put yourself out there”? We find someone who matches our favorite charcter's characteristics and think that they are "The One". Starnes portrays those butterflies we get when we confront our platonic love just perfectly. I enjoyed this love story because I couln't help but reminisce and laugh about how I never had the guts to talk to my crush. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your story!
