Review of "Fans Want Football, not Protests"
“Fans Want Football, not Protests” by Jaden K. and Franklin L. was a very well organized writing that displays the opinions from the fans of football. It tells how Americans feel about NFL players kneeling, sitting, or not being present for the National Anthem. Several viewers of the NFL believe this is “pure disrespect for our country.” Because of this protest, many fans stopped watching the game. Authors claim players acted out for “police brutality and racism in the United States,” but as President Trump clearly stated, “he or she should not be allowed to disrespect our Great American Flag. ”All of these views are just simply taking away importance from the game of football and making it a political argument.
