Gabriel Review
The writing titled “Gabriel”, written by Bailey H., talks about two boys who can’t swim who are becoming friends. The writer left me feeling very interested in the story. This was a very well written story. Even though this story is only fiction and will never be real, I feel very connected to the two characters. After the story ended, I immediately wanted there to be more. The quote “You nearly risked your life trying to save a criminal boy whom you’d known for two weeks,” really stood out to me. The fact that the character was willing to put his life in danger to save someone he barely knows is very inspiring. I also like that the criminal character was trying to learn how to swim. That was a very brave thing to do.
