An Open Letter to My Mom
An Open Letter to My Mom, by Odette is such a beautiful message, not just to her mother, but to every parent in the world. It's satisfying to read something considered "taboo" and to hear everyone speak their minds. I for one am a lesbian, and I feel as if everyone is judging me everyday. "Or anyone" is such a short, yet strong message. Everyone needs to understand that not all people aren't going to be the way you want them to be. It's their life and they should make their own desicions. No one understands how many people are actually out there in the LGBT+ community, "but the numbers exist and are substantial." I encourage anyone and everyone to read this article, even if you aren't in the LGBT+ community. Thank you Odette, thank you for making this day so much better.
