Review of "Finally a Camper"
The writing titled “Finally a Camper,” which was written by Hannah K., was both interesting and made me reflect on what I did at church camp. Her writing about The Great Escape church camp and the activities they did there left me feeling cheerful and reflective. Hannah said, “It was finally July and the first summer I was old enough to attend the Great Escape church camp. I had been waiting twelve years to go to TGE Midwest.” When I went to church camp, I didn’t really want to go. This is why I disagree with Hannah at first. But when we started doing activities at camp, I started to like it. It was much more fun than I expected, and it was fun getting to know the other campers. I also believe that church camp changes us. It gives us time to think about what really matters in life. She said, ”I believe The Great Escape changed all of us. We had to return to reality…” Since I have been to church camp, I can both relate and understand the atmosphere at church camp.
