Body Shaming: The Skinny Stance
Nandini Kochar's article, "The Skinny Stance" is such an amazing story. Many people take it as "normal" for skinny people to be told these things. I personally never knew it affected people who are skinny. She writes, "It is better to be small like a stick, than to tell people they are fat." I agree with this because we are all so quick to judge and as we've heard it before, "Never judge a book by it's cover." When we don't take the time to get to know someone, we don't know how great of a person they are! So that is why, Nadini says, "[Our] body size [does] not. . . determine [our] self worth."
