Why "13 Reasons Why" Fails
I strongly agree with Ellis Donaghey's "Why '13 Reasons Why' Fails." The Netflix series never mentioned about Hannah's mental illness. Viewers could have understood that she chose to end her life because of her illness, not just because she wanted to. The show can easily convince teens to commit suicide because, "It glorifies and encourages the act." I found Ellis' article very accurate, I agree to everything she said. Thank you, Ellis for writing this article that is filled with facts.
