Native
The poem titled "Native" by Lily C. is an inspiring choice of words that tells how the land was once the home of 500 nations. I agree with the fact it mentions ,"Betrayed since the first gun. Was shot on their shores- Blood seeping slowly into their earth. Ancestors lying dead. Lies. Decet. ast offs of "Progress", They are living casualties." The idea it mentions how peaceful the people were until "Betrayed" by unkown travelers who took their home. Thank you, Lily for bringing out the hidden truth of our ancestors.
