Feedback: "Walls Around Me"
I found the article, “The Walls Around Me” really effective. It really struck me knowing what she went through, I can’t imagine myself in her shoes. All the painful words that was put upon her because people were stereotyping her as a blonde. And for her to be able to slowly break down those walls after being trapped and hurt for so long. I had heard these stereotypes before, but I never heard a story like this one. Reading this article really touched my heart because I was able to connect with what happened because I’ve experienced myself coming out of my comfort zone. From being a shy kid, unable to speak to anyone. I was uncomfortable with how I look and who I am. But seeing everyone having fun and being themselves. I decided to come out of my shell and join in with the kids.
